Zephaniah 1:17-18

New American Standard Bible

¹⁷ I will bring ^(A)distress on mankind
So that they will walk ^(B)like those who are blind,
Because they have sinned against the Lord;
And their ^(C)blood will be poured out like dust,
And their ^(D)flesh like dung.
¹⁸ Neither their ^(E)silver nor their gold
Will be able to save them
On the day of the Lord’s anger;
And ^(F)all the earth will be devoured
By the fire of His jealousy,
For He will ^(G)make a complete end,
Indeed a horrifying one,
Of all the inhabitants of the earth.
